Studio Calico & Paper Smooches

Today I am showcasing a card made with Studio Calico Mister Huey's mists and masks.

To make the card I cut a piece of white card stock to size.  With post it notes I masked off the diaganol section I wanted then sprayed it with pink mist.  I then continued to mask off and mist (covering the already misted parts as well) until the cardstock looked how I wanted it too.  Then I taped the Mister Huey's bubbles mask over the top of the card and misted it with white Mister Huey's until I was happy with the coverage.  Once dry I stamped the sentiment from Paper Smooches sentiment sampler over the top in black Memento ink.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Paper Smooches & Hero Arts

Hello again

I've got some more new cards and today I am showcasing Paper Smooches Geo-graphic stamp set which has three terrific patterns, hexagons, zig zag lines and solid dots.  Today I am using the hexagon pattern.  The flower and banner below I found in my stash :)

The bees and patterned paper below are from the Basic Grey PB&J paper pad & stickers sheet.  I improvised the sentiment from the Hero Arts essential messages set by sticky tapeing the letters I didn't want and inking the rest, remove the tape and stamp away!

For the next two cards I have used the Hero Arts Antique Engravings stamp set.  To get the background for the butterflies I flip over the clear stamps and ink up the flat back surface, stamp it and then flip it over to stamp the outline over the top, you can use a white pencil to highlight like I have below.  I have used an assortment of Memento inks in bright and muted colours.  The "just a note" sentiment is from Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler set.

Bye for now.

New Cards

Today I'm posting some cards that use products I'll be stocking in my store www.willowpaperie.com.au !  The first cards use the Crate Paper Pretty Party Chipboard, phrase stickers and 6 x 6 paper pads.  The sentiments are Hero Arts Essential Messages and I have used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

The next cards used Basic Grey PB&J paper pads.  I have made one with masculine patterns and one with feminine patterns.  It just goes to show how versatile these paper pads can be.  Again the sentiment is from Hero Arts Essential Messages highlighted with some brads and with sewing machine stitching.  The banner ends were just hand cut with scissors.

Well that's all for today, will be back tomorrow with some more cards - have a great weekend!
